Ofcom

Ofcom is funded by fees from industry for regulating broadcasting and communications networks, and grant-in-aid from the Government. They regulate the TV, radio and video-on-demand sectors The Government today named Lord (Terry) Burns as the preferred candidate to be the next Chairman of Ofcom, from 1 January 2018. How does Cuffs  fit the BBC and PSB regulations? Cuffs  fits the BBC and PSB regulations because it has a remit to entertain educate and inform. Cuffs is a programme that aims to improve society because it teaches you that committing a crime will always lead to a consequence after but as well as doing that it also entertains viewers to watch so they won't get bored and switch channels. The UK is multicultural and it supports all cultures, religions and sexualities. This is most represented in cuffs  because Ryan and jake are two different cultures and sexuality but however both shown in a positive light by being police officers. However some are shown negatively such as the hate crime committed by the white british man to the muslim young man.
